Overview
The "Model Settings" section allows users to interact with models through various settings such as focus, isolate, highlight, and selection methods. Users can access these settings by clicking on “Model Settings,” enabling functionalities like zooming into selected items, isolating selected items, and highlighting them with bounding boxes.
Manual selection and box selection options are available to populate tag tables with model objects.
The "Status Types" section lets users apply and view status colors on models, indicating different project statuses, with distinct color codes representing the completion state. Filters can be applied and managed in the selection tree, and current filters can be viewed and cleared through the current selections area
Model Settings - General

Model settings allows the user to interact with the model in different ways.
Model settings is opened by clicking on the text “Model Settings”. This includes:
- Focus on selection
- Isolate on selection
- Highlight on selection
- Select from model
- Select from box
Model Settings - Focus & Isolate on Selection

The default configuration keeps Focus on selection and isolate on selection activated.
Focus on selection will zoom into items that are selected from the tree and centralise the image within the viewer.
Isolate on selection will only show the items selected within the selection tree and will hide all other model elements.
The example shown above has isolated Mechanical Drum tags.
Model Settings - Highlight on Selection

Highlight on selection puts a bounding box around the selection but does not isolate the selection.
Model Settings - Select by Model

Select from model allows a user to manually select model objects which will automatically populate the tag table. This example has selected 4 equipment tags. To select multiple tags hold down the Ctrl key.
Note – To reuse the selection tree to navigate the model select from model needs to be deactivated.
Model Settings - Select from Box
Tip – The box selection is much faster than the select from model to isolate scopes.

Select from box allows a user to create a box volume within the model. This automatically populates the tag table with any tag that is within the box.
This can be used in conjunction with the other features of focus, isolate or highlight.
The box area is shown by a feint white line.
This example has isolated the box selection. Box selections can be used multiple times to narrow down the model selection.
Status Type - General

The model can be coloured to show status of all tags where status is captured. Status gates are configured to align as closely with the project rules of credit.
To apply status, click the text “Status Types”.
Click within the white box which will show all available status gates.
There are 2 types of status gates:
- Aggregated status gates – These are collections of status gates to show a blended status picture within the visual.
- General status gates – These will show a specific status gate such as PO issued. This will show a Yes = Green, No = Red. These are ordered within the dropdown menu by discipline and then status gate code and description.
- Note: Only admin users can create aggregated status gates.
Status Types - Applying Status to the Model

To apply status colours to the model from the selection tree a status type is chosen to apply (this example has chosen MR Received by SEI). Once chosen click set status.
There needs to be a selection made from the selection tree (this example has selected mechanical discipline).

Open the selection tree action button and select Set status colours. The model viewer will update the colours based on the selection.

To apply status colours to the model from the selection tree a status type is chosen to apply (this example has chosen an aggregated status called Proc Sum). There needs to be a selection made from the selection tree (this example has selected mechanical discipline).

Open the selection tree action button and select Set status colours. The model viewer will update the colours based on the selection.

The model viewer will update the colours based on the selection.
Where a standard status gate is chosen the colours will appear as:
- Red = Not Complete
- Green = Complete
The blue colours (original model colour) represent equipment tags that are not yet included in the status files using to update the system. Equipment procurement status comes from the Procurement Status Report.
Status Types - Viewing aggregated statuses

Where an aggregated status is chosen a legend can be opened to understand the different status colours. Within the status types area there is an additional action button. Select this and choose aggregated statuses.

The legend box appears which shows:
- Dark Blue = MR Received by SEI
- Sky Blue = Technical Bid Evaluation Complete
- LOA Issued = Yellow
- PO Issued = Green
Where equipment tags appear in their original colour this means the tags are not yet included in the status file uploaded into the system. Equipment status comes from the Procurement Status Report (PSR).
Status Types - Current Selections

Current selections informs a user if filters are currently applied from the selection tree or the tag area.
This example highlights that 1 filter is selected from the tags section.
Where a filter is applied in the tags area the number of filters can be seen in the select box at the bottom of that attribute. This example above shows a (1) within the Filter MR Received By SEI column.
Status Types - Current Selections - Clear Current Filters

To clear filters, use the action button within the current Selections area and select clear selections.
