Highlights

Our latest iteration of the Calculate software includes the following updates:

  • Addition of ASME B16.5 & EEMUA 234 Slip-On Flanges with Hub, designed using methodologies from ASME BPVC Section VIII, Divisions 1 & 2 (2023), WRC 538, and PVP 2014‑28685.
  • Enhancements to Document Markup, including new formatting features that allow improved control over text and object styling.

ASME Slip on Flanges with Hub

Calculate now supports ASME B16.5 & EEMUA 234 Slip-On Flanges with Hub, using methodologies from ASME BPVC Sec. VIII Div. 1 & 2 (2023), WRC 538, and PVP 2014-28685.

You can create a slip-on calculation by following the below steps:

  1. Open the Calculate Engine.
  2. If not already selected, select the Connection Type ASME PCC-1 2022.
  3. When the Engine has loaded start a calculation by selecting either the ASME B16.5 or EEMUA 234 flange standard.
  4. Populate the rest of your values for the flange.
  5. When you get to Joint type, you will see new options for Slip-on with Hub in the Dropdown list, select one of the options.
  6. Populate the rest of your calculation values in all the required sections.
  7. Once all the values have been populated, click on the Calculate button.
  8. This will then calculate using your values and display results on the Calculate Engine.
